Tours at the Nevada Museum of Art are designed to be interactive, age appropriate and can be constructed to accommodate a variety of curricular areas.

Dose of Art Tours

Dose of Art tours include an hour-long interactive tour of NMA's feature exhibit (please see upcoming exhibitions) and a related studio art project.

	Time:	Tours begin as early as 10 am.
	Tour size:	A minimum of 10 students. One chaperone per 10 students, to accompany students at all times.

Docent Guided Tours

Docent Guided tours are interactive and designed to fit specific age groups. Tours can include architecture, the permanent collection and/or the feature exhibit. Feature exhibit tours are very popular!

	Ages:	1st - 12th grade
	Cost:	$1.00 per student
	Days:	Tuesday - Friday
	Time:	Tours begin as early as 10 am.
	Length:	1 hour
	Tour size:	A minimum of 10 students. One chaperone per 10 students, to accompany students at all times.

Self Guided Tours

Using the gallery guides and wall text provided by the NMA, groups explore the exhibitions independently. For groups of 10 or more, a scheduled appointment is necessary. A gallery assistant will greet your group, give a short introduction, and answer questions. Teachers and chaperones are required to accompany their students at all times, and are responsible for maintaining discipline as well as enforcing museum rules.

	Tour size:	30 students per teacher maximum. One chaperone per 10 students, to accompany students at all times.

Universities and Colleges Tours

College and university groups are welcome to request guided or self-guided tours, as well as permission to sketch in the galleries. Guided tours will be presented by a museum educator. Classes that do not schedule their visit will be charged full admission price.

Adult Docent Guided Group Tours

Our volunteer docents will lead your group through an informative and interactive tour. Tour subjects include a choice of the feature exhibition OR the NMA's permanent collection/architecture. Docent guided adult tours need to be scheduled four weeks prior to the date requested.

	Cost:	$25.00 fee per group plus regular admission minus $1.00 per person.
