The Museum’s rapidly expanding Contemporary Collection features work by regional, national, and international artists unified by a broad thematic focus on creative interactions with natural, built, and virtual environments. From paintings, sculpture, and works on paper by American artists Petah Coyne, Michael Heizer, Maya Lin, and Frohawk Two Feathers to new media works by Ken Goldberg, Andy Diaz Hope and Jon Bernson, and Brigitte Zieger, the Contemporary Collection continues to grow through purchases and generous gifts from artists, galleries, and private collectors.
