2021 A+E Education Cohort Application
Commemorating 50 years of Land Art, the Nevada Museum of Art convenes its triennial 2021 Art + Environment Season on the subject of Land Art: Past, Present, Futures. The three-month season of virtual programs brings together prominent artists, art historians, and critics who have shaped the pioneering genre, alongside interdisciplinary scholars, artists, and social activists who are exploring “what’s next?” as they push the boundaries of the field.
The Nevada Museum of Art serves as a state-wide educational resource. We are seeking a cohort of ten Nevada-based K12 educators who will collectively review the season content and draft a set of interdisciplinary lesson plans based on the themes and artists highlighted during the 2021 Art + Environment Season. This co-hort will work independently and collectively to draft interdisciplinary lesson plans that will be made available to NV educators.
