Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23
10 am - 4 pm
10 am - 4 pm
Uncial is a unique calligraphic hand that is direct, user-friendly, open, and legible. These sturdy, round majuscules were used for lettering books from the 3rd to the 9th centuries in Europe. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will learn to write these beautiful letters with an edged pen dipped into ink. Once students have learned the 26 letters, several holiday projects will be made using these lovely forms. Please bring a lunch or you can eat lunch in the museum cafe.
