Screenprinting Techniques: Monotypes and Hand-Cut Stencils

This workshop focuses on direct stenciling methods using screen filler and drawing fluid. Students will build upon drawn images, layering different colors to create their finished screenprint edition. All materials are water-based and non-toxic.

Instructor: Candace Nicol

Ages: 15 and up / all levels

Required Supplies: A few black and white images printed on transparencies – if they are of photos, they need to be high contrast and half-toned. Best when starting out to have images that are black and white with no grey tones.
