Color Theory in Oils or Acrylic

In this class students will explore color by creating a color wheel and chart, and then mixing and matching colors to a reference of your choice to create a color study.  This class is for anyone who is curious about color or interested in improving their ability to accurately match color to a reference or create believable lifelike colors in oil or acrylic paint. Students are welcome to use the colors from the suggested materials list or bring the paints you already have.  Please bring in 2 printed 5×7″- 8×10″ copies of a photo reference to make a color study from.
