Come explore a variety of art forms as we dive into the world of mixed media art. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will learn foundational and technical skills related to drawing, painting, collage and sculpture. Throughout this course, students will be introduced to contemporary and pop artists known for their work in these mediums. This will help them apply the skills they learn to their own art work. All supplies and a mid-class snack are provided.

Teens ages 12 – 15 will explore the basics of Procreate on the Museum’s iPad Pros as they work on storyboarding, character design and animation in this after school series. Students will also have the opportunity to learn drawing fundamentals and techniques that can be applied to all forms of drawing. All materials and snack are provided.

Teens 12 – 15 will learn the basics and versatility of procreate to produce their digital painting through form, color and line. Using a photo reference, the instructor will breakdown the steps to convert a photograph to a digital work of art. Students will learn the foundations and techniques of drawing and color theory, which can be applied to various practices and mediums in art.
