Fall Break Camp: Fun with Clay
Monday – Friday, October 1 – 5 / 8:30 am – noon
Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun exploring the tactile nature of clay. Instruction will encompass basic hand building, throwing on the wheel, and sculpture. In this 5 day camp, students will learn about the basics of pottery, glazing and the transformation of their pieces from the heat of kiln. This will be a fun and educational class. All works will be fired in the Museums’ kiln. Snack and materials are included.

Kids’ Corner: Animals in Art
Wednesdays, October 10 – November 14* / 3:30 – 5:30 pm
NOTE: There will be no class on October 31.
Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun practicing and improving on art practice in this mixed media after school series while using animals as their reference. Students will also have an opportunity to explore and sketch in the Museum’s galleries while looking for inspiration for their own work. A snack and all materials are included with registration.

Kids’ Corner: Modern Masters
Wednesdays, August 29 – September 26 / 3:30 – 5:30 pm
Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun developing their art skills while examining the work of modern masters in the galleries. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Joan Mitchell and Mark Rothko students will explore different mediums and approaches to approaches to making art. A snack and all materials are included with registration.

Design Camp for Kids
Monday – Friday, July 30 – August 3 / 9 am – 12 pm
Kids ages 8 – 12 will enjoy exploring design concepts as they work on both digital and handmade art projects. Campers will work through concepts by hand using paint, drawing materials and clay and then will apply those concepts which will then be realized as a digital design assets as they use (provided) iPad Pros. Campers will enjoy finding inspiration in the galleries and will also have an opportunity to get their work moving with fun animation projects using the iPad Pros. A daily snack and all materials are included with registration.

Art High: Drawing Techniques for Teens
Monday – Thursday, June 25 – 28 / 9 am – 12 pm
Students ages 13 – 18 will enjoy this introductory level course designed to teach basic drawing techniques including rendering, shading, and perspective. This class is designed to provide a foundation for drawing, teaching students how to realistically draw objects, environments and people. Each class will focus on different drawing techniques and strategies.
The following supplies are recommended, through shared class supply will be available for student use.
