2024 NV STEAM Conference | Opening Keynote
The theme of the 2024 NV STEAM Conference is Healthy People, Places, and Environments. The Conference will be presented virtually, beginning on Wednesday, March 13 from 4 – 5:30 pm and resume Saturday, March 16 from 8:30am – 12:30pm.
Following the keynote on Saturday, multiple workshops will take place from 9:40 – 11:50 am and a closing synthesis will be from 12 – 12:30 pm.

Art Afternoon: Workshop and Social for Seniors
Seniors are invited to spend the afternoon at the Museum. Enjoy a guided tour and a studio art class. Monthly tours and projects are designed for participants of all levels of experience and offer an engaging and interactive experience.
Senior Art Afternoon will be hosted in-person in the E.L. Cord Museum School. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Monthly sessions are offered on the second Thursday and the second Friday of the month. Tour and project will be the same for the Thursday and Friday offerings, but change monthly.

Educators are invited to these FREE monthly informative roundtables incorporating and following the Educator Evenings. These Zoom discussions provide participants an opportunity to further discuss the presented topics as they relate to early childhood education.

Early Childhood Education Roundtable (In Person)
Educators are invited to these FREE monthly informative in-person roundtables which provide participants an opportunity to interact with art and each other. A hands-on workshop directed by Museum Educators will be integrated into each meeting. Meetings in the Museum allow a different exhibition to become the focus for discussion to support children’s learning through creative play in diverse early childhood settings. It is a time for uncommon conversations.
