Turning Pages Book Club: Choose Your Own Adventure
Join Museum volunteer docents for a book discussion making connections to current expansion of the Museum and artists featured at the Museum. For this meeting, participants are invited to choose one of two books that focus on the essence of art and its importance in our lives. In Get the Picture, Bianca Bosker, an award-winning journalist, provides an irreverent, insightful, and often hilarious deep dive into the art world. Museum guard Patrick Bringley, in All the Beauty in the World, provides an intimate and inspiring portrait of the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Following the discussion, participants will have the opportunity to preview the Charles and Stacie Mathewson Education + Research Center with Museum staff.
Register online for guiding questions that will be discussed at the book club. Arrive early to place a lunch order with the Café! Space is limited, advanced reservations are recommended.
