Nevada Museum of Art in partnership with the Desert Research Institute’s Science Alive program, hosts an annual statewide conference to explore best practices in STEAM Education. 

The NV STEAM Conference is the most important state-wide event for exploring ideas and strategies that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math Education into pioneering classroom practices that foster student creativity through engaging, hands-on workshops and nationally recognized keynote speakers.

This year, we are asking ourselves about the next chapter of STEAM thinking. 

How can we better approach interdisciplinary practices that transcend the silos of art and science?

In 2019, the NV STEAM Conference considers the ways in which historical practices, influenced by new technologies, can catalyze innovations in STEAM education. Using today’s most exciting digital tools, we can launch a new chapter of STEAM education based on authentic, interdisciplinary exploration of the world around us.

We invite Gold and Silver Key award-winning students to be honored during this special ceremony at the Museum attended by family, teachers and friends.

All invited guests are required to RSVP here by March 1, 2019 to attend. Due to limited space, Gold and Silver Key award-winning students may RSVP with up to two guests and educators may bring one guest.
