Virtual Educator Evenings
Paul D. Miller, AKA DJ Spooky, is a composer, multimedia artist, and writer whose work pushes boundaries and bridges disciplines. Join us for an interactive discussion with Miller about his practice and learn how fractals inform music, art, and design.
Miller’s work is featured in the exhibition We Belong Here. This exhibition was organized in conjunction with the 2021 NV STEAM Conference, an annual statewide event in partnership with Desert Research Institute’s Science Alive program. Scheduled for early February 2021, the virtual conference explores ideas and strategies that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math education into classroom practices to foster student creativity and innovation.
Educator Evening is a FREE professional development series occurring every month (excluding January and July) offering state-approved professional development hours for participation.
This program is hosted on Zoom. Please register by Wednesday, December 2 at 9 am to participate. For registration support or questions, email Jacque.Dawson@NevadaArt.org.
