Sewing: Zippered Bags Workshop

Ever need a zippered bag to keep something small safe and organized? Whether its for pencils, make-up, stickers, glasses or just a thoughtful gift, zippered bags come in handy all the time. In this workshop, students will make a small, zippered bag. With the guidance of the instructor students will have the choice to make it waterproof and durable or soft or even shiny, you bring the fabric and we’ll make a bag!
Note: The Museum School will have a limited number of Singer Brilliant 6180 sewing machines for students to use but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Ages: (15+) | Some machine sewing experience needed
Supply List:
- 1/4 – 1/2 yard of fabric for external part of the bag
- 1/4 – 12 yard of fabric for internal part of the bag
- Zipper
